The pad helps stop bleeding and applies extra pressure on the wound. The bandages stick well and are a great addition to our first aid cabinet. Great product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quickstop clotting for tiny bleeds (dialysis ports, etc.) *by K***O on February 4, 2025* There are 50 tiny quickstop clotting bandages in this set. The quickstop area is the size of a button hole. The adhesive on the bandage is strong. Based on my Internet research this works due to "oxidized cellulose powder that reacts with blood on contact, creating a clot-like structure that quickly stops bleeding on minor cuts and scrapes."These bandages are small and specifically designed for bleeding that occurs from dialysis port holes. I recently cut myself and bled profusely; these bandages would have worked then if had them in my medicine cabinet at the time.These are good to have in one's medicine cabinet for very tiny bleeders. I expect this will be effective.
