Review: 1-18-26 review - After reading reviews mainly complaining about no fluid, not working, or no instructions. First I wanna say people make it sound difficult and probably not a person who works in a hands on field. Ordered 3 they all worked out of the box! Because of the reviews the first thing I checked was fluid. Simply unscrew the yellow tube from the top and found 1/2 tube full of oil. When you get it out of the box remove the plastic ends and hook up the hose to the ram. It does take up to 15 pumps before it starts to pick the first time and get full of fluid. Next these types of things are made to lift extremely heavy loads. They dont lift quickly. Probably 50 pumps for 2 inches. Which if you truly are picking something in the 30 to 40k pounds its something your gonna want control. I needed something the would work in the horizontal position and this worked just fine. I do wish there were instructions included showing how to add hydraulic fluid. Tip: The pump will work in the horizontal position as shown and it also in the vertical position if the hose is on the bottom.
