I can mow the lawn with two charges. In order to be more efficient I bought the Greenworks chainsaw so I'd have an extra set of batteries that could be charging while I made the first pass of mowing. The good news is the batteries are interchangable between the mower and chainsaw. The bad news is the chainsaw is worthless. I thought perhaps I was overloading it by trying to cut wet hardwood so I tried it on a kiln dried 2x4 but it still bound up. There just isn't enough power. By the time I figured this out, I couldn't return it. I do recall Greenworks was coming out with a new more powerful 16" chainsaw that looked like it required a different 40V battery so I think you'll still have to double check compatibility. Sorry I didn't really answer your question but I thought I'd warn you about my experience with the saw. **Q: does this model use a lot of oil?** A: The model number 20262 will come with a smaller reservoir than most standard 12" chain saws. Be sure to always check the oil before and after each usage. **Q: What is the fps (feet per second chain speed) for this saw?** A: I have no way of measuring that. However, it is definitely "slower" than a gas powered chain saw. It is essentially a single speed. I am impressed with how well it actually works and how long the battery lasts during a series of thick tree trunks I recently sawed. Keep the rear portion of the chain and housing clear of build up for best operation and clean and lube the chain often. **Q: Does this come with a scabbard?
