The yarn looks like flat tape on the skein but opens out to a wide lacy strip. The lower edge has a tiny bit of silver metallic, just enough to add some flair but not too much bling.The Waltz color is a beautiful mix of neutrals. I also ordered several other colors of the Sashay. I prefer Sashay to another brand of similar yarn that I tried (Bernat). So far, I have found no defects or knots in the few skeins I've used. If I find a separate piece knotted on in any of the skeins, I'll just untie the knot and overlap the ends of the pieces several inches and keep going. The scarves can be knitted, crocheted, or made with the easier no-crochet method using a crochet hook. Only limited colors seem to be available locally.
