I am a sporadic cyclist where i will hop off and on the bike but when i do i go for 20-mile+ rides, mostly consisting of smooth tarmac, some loose gravel and canal towpaths. They seem very durable and I haven't yet received a puncture in 500 miles of cycling, even over questionable loose gravel tracks used on farms in the rural countryside. They need to be pumped with air every couple of weeks to keep in the pressure, but its never a problem. Fitting the inner tubes is easy, but i recommend using tyre levers; it's never the tubes themselves that are hard to fit the tyres on the rim, rather, if anything so invest in some tyre levers. They arent the lightest of inner tubes and the best on the market but they are a solid option for someone on a budget or new to cycling, they do the basics well. Don't make the rookie mistake like me and buy standard inner tubes because the valve will not come all the way through the rim so you won't be able to pump the tyre up.
