I just had workers going over it delivering large appliances. It isn't very long. I would recommend checking the width of your door to see if it will be right. **Q: I understand this is recommended for outdoor use but wondering if it can be used to manipulate down one indoor step using a cane or walker?** A: It is recommended for outdoor use because it is good in very wet areas. It isn't very good for a cane since it is too steep. A walker does half to be a big wheel one, 8" wheels. **Q: can it be cut** A: Yes it can. I cut about 2 inches off the back of mine. I got this, it works great. The rubber is heavy and solid, so it doesn't move at all when she walks on it, ,and there are ridges so it doesn't slip.
