Filled with rage, Rita decides to conquer the nearest planet: Earth. But her arch nemesis –the heroic sage Zordon–has been patiently waiting in preparation for this day. With the assistance of his wisecracking robotic sidekick Alpha 5, Zordon recruits a team of five ‘teenagers with attitude’ –Jason, Zack, Kimberly, Billy, and Trini-to receive superpowers beyond their wildest dreams and defend the Earth as the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Aided by giant robotic vehicles modeled after dinosaurs called Zords, the Power Rangers fight back the evil alien hordes of Rita Repulsa. In 1993 two unsuspecting astronauts unleashed the greatest evil Earth had ever known - the heinous witch Rita Repulsa. In the 20 years since, with each new villain more sinister than the last, the citizens of Earth have relied on the Power Rangers to protect them. As a superhero team comprising “teenagers with attitude”, the Power Rangers must use their individual strengths combined with the virtue of teamwork to vanquish their foes, keeping Earth safe for another day. After its premiere in August 1993, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers became a phenomenon in children’s programming unlike anything the world had ever seen. An instant global sensation, the franchise launched a hugely successful toy line, live stage tour, theatrical feature film and, most importantly, two continuous decades of entertainment that captured the imagination of multiple generations of fans. Now you can see where the international sensation began with the complete series of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers over 19 discs, including the ten-episode Alien Rangers miniseries. Now some things about this item : Here we have the first 3 seasons in 3 DVD black jewel cage cases : season 1 - six DVD's .. Season 2 - six DVDs and Season 3 - 5 DVD's. The image and the sound are actually pretty good the only reason i gave 4/5 stars is cause there are no subtitles at all .. not even english for the hearing.
