## Description

KnuKonceptz studied countless terminal options while developing the Ultimate Battery Terminal. Our top priority was a bullet proof battery post clamping system that would never fail. Using cross dowels that can be replaced on the fly created just that. Solid brass pins are inserted through the bottom of the UBT-840, should the installer cross thread or over tighten, these pins are easily removed and the terminal safely restored to functional in seconds.  In additional to a never failing clamping system, the UBT-840 allows for instant OEM integration via the optional top post adapter TPA-POS or TPA-NEG (sold separate). Installed in seconds, this adapter allows installers to use the vehicles OEM battery cable, which is great news for car enthusiasts who lease their vehicles.  The UBT-840 also holds a variety of cable sizes by set screws and the optional ring terminal port. Access to the three set screws is from the bottom of the terminal. Each UBT-840 accepts one each 1/0, 4 gauge and 8 gauge wire. These screws are accessible even after the insulated color coded cover is in place.  Like all automotive battery terminals, the UBT-840 is made to SAE specifications, which means that the positive and negative terminals are machined to different diameters. This is a reverse polarity safety feature so that installers can not tighten a negative terminal onto a positive battery post and cause serious damaged to vehicle electronics. Needed to add aftermarket heavy battery cable to vehicle, and was not happy with any of the past battery terminals I had used in the past, so these caught my eye. They clamp onto the battery with a very tight hold and accept a 1/0, 4ga, and an 8ga. Wire into the clamp itself, but what sets these apart is the additional screw for a top post adapter to screw into, or use for wire lugs to add more circuits or grounds to the outside of the clamp itself and still maintain a super clean look.Top notch very well made and engineered heavy cable terminal clamp. A must have for beefing up your circuit capabilities.
