The replacement cartridges are nothing at all to change. Screw off the side clear parts- take out old cartridge and put in new. Make sure to match up red with red and blue with blue and that’s it. Run the water on hot for 3 minutes to activate and flush- good to go! The initial price of unit may seem steep- but it’s not when you see the results. The refills are fairly priced and worth it! I have to change mine more often due to the severity of the harsh chemicals added to my water in my local area. Still worth the money even when changing more often.
