The buckle is sharp but simple and secure. The "flex" in the belt is tight. A traditional belt is not going to give you any flex at all, while "stretch" belts are too loose, they flex too much. This one is not loosey-goosey, definitely not enough to sag when you put something on it (e.g. holstered M&P). It'll flex when you flex, but it's sturdy. Don't know how else to describe it, but it's excellent for this purpose. I was also able to cut it a little long since my waistline tends to adjust with my attitude, or the seasons, or something. Perfect.

I’ve been really happy with this belt so far. I like that it has a little stretch to it, so it’s much more comfortable than the stiff belts I’ve used before, especially when sitting or moving around throughout the day. The buckle feels sturdy and secure, and adjusting the belt is really easy. I also like that I’m not stuck with just a few preset holes, so I can get the fit exactly where I want it.
