It does leave stalks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dewalt battery strimmer *by M***S on 25 May 2026* Excellent little strimmer, more powerful than I thought it would be, nice and light to use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ An effective tool but manual irritating *by B***. on 11 June 2026* This tool is of the quality one can expect of DeWalt. It is however bigger than I expected, when assembled the length is about 160cm and with a battery just over 4kg weight, no shoulder strap is supplied. Some assembly is required although on the Amazon site assembly is said to not be required. The supplied manual is in twelve languages with 4 pages of numbered illustrations, the English section has twelve pages, 8 of general warnings and cautions, 4 pages of text with instructions specific to the strimmer. The information on how to fit the guard is on the last page. The tool is designed for a right handed user, a left handed user would be less protected by the asymmetric guard. In use it is best suited for dealing with large areas and performs better than my mains powered strimmer. The bump feed for the cutting line works better than other strimmers I have used.
