Mandy recommends equipment and tools that are needed that really makes cooking easier. There's a section regarding seasonings and spices in great detail. Substitutes are suggested for spices and ingredients that may be hard to find. Every recipe has a QR code to watch the recipe video. Each step is detailed in the book and explained why each step is important. Ingredient tips and chef's secrets are throughout the book.Some of my favorites so far are Moo Goo Gai Pan, Chicken and Broccoli, Kung Pao, Sesame Chicken, and Orange Chicken, both Cantonese Sweet and Sour and Northern Chinese Sweet and Sour Pork, Mongolian Beef, Pepper Steak, and Beef and Broccoli. There are way too many to list AND so many more I can't wait to try.If you love Chinese food and are tired of getting takeout that's just not good, get this cookbook. You won't be sorry.
