The chocolate was delicious. We used this at an open house. So we had roughly 150 guests and we sat it out for around 5 hours. We replenished of course. But I would suggest 4-5 pounds. It was more than enough. the only suggestion I would have is for this product not for the consumer. And it would be nice if it had a spout of some sort to empty out the chocolate. It could get a little messy when pouring in .
