I put two in my larger tank (55 Gal.) to give the male and female Bristlenose a choice. The male picked the one he liked and within three days of it being in the tank they spawned (first spawn). The first clutch yielded approximately 40 fry. They just spawned again last week and this time even more fry. The cave is well made and I like the natural log pattern as it fits in well with my planted tank. The medium size is perfect for the Bristlenose plecos. I would recommend these caves to anyone who intends to breed plecos. Shipping was fast and they arrived in good condition. My breeding Ancistrus are about 4 " and it a tight fit.
