As such it’s rendered useless.It’s been connected to an always on Wi-fi connection but is frequently unadjustable from an iPhone on the same network.Save yourself money & buy a mechanical timer.These ‘smart’ devices are in their infancy. Well now I can! I bought 2 of these (10% discount) and use 1 to operate said electric blanket and the other to turn on an uplighter in my lounge when I pull up outside my house so that the approach steps are lit up thus ensuring that I don't trip up. They are a very reasonable price and easy to set up. Of course you need WiFi because that's how it all works. The eFamilyCloud app is free and you can rename your sockets to avoid confusion: eg Blanket and Uplighter instead of Plug 1 and Plug 2.
