All their products have been well built, long lasting and work very well. These are very good value for money considering most of their other products tend to be in the mid to expensive range. Review: Bright strip, dim view of signup - I have a few Olight torches that I have absolutely loved, and they have done me well. So when I saw that they have released an LED strip, I really wanted to give it a go. The strip comes in at five metres plus a nice long lead going up to it, which measures almost 2 metres. It has a USB plug for power and a single inline button to manage it when on. Realistically, you will need to install the app to control the strip. In order to use the app, you do need to hand over an email address, though it does not ask for a password. From the app, you can set how the lights appear, such as scenes that dance with different colours or flash. You can also tell it to be on constantly in one colour or multiple, one colour per segment. I really would rather not have to hand over my email to control my lights. The strip has individual LEDs, one every 3.5 cm. Over the LEDs, there is a clear resin coating to protect them. This is a nice touch, and unless you touch the strip or look very closely, you would not know the coating is there. On the back, there is some adhesive under the usual backing paper. This will hold it in place whilst you add the clips, which are supplied. The lights are bright enough for decorative use or as a nightlight level to show the way upstairs at night. The colours are good too. I have got a few LED strips, and to get five metres of RGB for £13 is very good value, especially from a respected brand like Olight. On the whole, this is a great LED strip for the price.
