I have the 26 quart sous vide container and retaining heat was always a problem. I usually put plastic wrap over the top to help hold in heat but that was a pain if I needed to move something around. These hold heat but still allow me to move whatever I'm cooking around or pull something out while leaving something else cooking. There are just enough here to cover the big 26 quart container with one layer of balls after accounting for the room taken up by the sous vide cooker. ### ⭐ It’s only 250 count of Sous Vide balls not 300 like the description so I returned it. *by L***A on Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2018* The product is good but the description is not. Put in a couple of steaks with these balls and the magnets and found that they helped keep the steaks submersed in the water bath.
