I wanted to replace my mismatched home use ratchets with something American and high quality. I gave these a shot as a SnapOn alternative to save some money, I have those and use them professionally all day. They are that. In fact I actually think I prefer the handle to head and overall head design better, the taper makes it comfortable to choke all the way up if need be. Overall quality is on par with SnapOn. Where they "fall short" is they have less teeth (idk, 36 vs 80?). This does matter but the 36 tooth SnapOn ratchet was the standard for the guys that I learned the trade from and they got by just fine. They're probably stronger honestly. If you're a homeowner or a backyard guy, you'll pass these on to your kids or grand kids, tough as nails and you can feel the difference in weight and machining tolerances when you compare to other ratchets.
