I used some nails, but also used a very durabledouble sided tape for taping some of the small baskets on the big baskets. I have gotten a lot of compliments. I did not use a pattern. I just started putting them up, I changed a few around, but I thought it turned out pretty good. I would definitely recommend they are good quality & very well-made. I chose the navy blue because that is the main color in my living room. Also, some are flat and some are more like a bowl, which gives it a lot of depth and dimension.

From a blank wall to a fun pop of color and shapes with the use of decent size decor. It is pretty well made baskets, don't think it will fall apart any time soon. Wish it came with its own installation items. Used my own various stuff, which was pretty easy to hang with picture hanging kits (nails and double sided tape mounts).
