Lots of listings promise it but fail to deliver. I ordered this one and can confirm it works perfectly. The fit is solid at each end of the extension cable. If they were smart they'd update the product title to be clearer about the compatibility with these more recent devices.A tip = be sure not to push the power cord into the audio port by mistake, which looks and is sized almost exactly the same and isn't clearly labelled when nothing is plugged in. A design flaw, in my opinion. The extension cable fits perfectly to both the power cable outlet and to the Echo Dot (3rd gen) inlet. My Echo Dot is now re-sited (t the top of the bookcase). The power cable is now exceptionally long (the extension is 3m long) but it gives me options to move the Echo Dot to other areas if I need to.
