It cannot be connected to serve anything smaller than 10-gauge wire. It fit and worked as described, and was compatible with my Siemens sub panel. Installation is incredibly simple with a healthy dose of caution, of course. I prefer Siemens because all of my boxes are Siemens. Compatibility across their line hasn't been an issue for any of my products, so I'd gladly purchase again. Other brands are likely just as good. Siemens GFCI breakers(which this is not) are expensive, but I've never had a bad Siemens breaker of any type. Their breakers hold up well. They're also a HUGE company.
