(The same type of thing is used to bathe newborns in the hospital.) We used this on our toddlers head to removed some dry skin. We needed something that would get through the hair to the scalp but not be so hard as to hurt him. This did the trick. My grandson did not complain about the scrubbing at all, in fact he kept playing with his toys the whole time his head was being scrubbed by the "plastic teeth" side.
