Review: A good pouring pot - This is definitely not the cheapest pouring pot you will find, but there's something about it that I really like. I now have four of them. They're a little more expensive than other ones, but the quality seems good. I also like the handles, and it is easy to pour my wax. I just wish they were a little more in line with the cost of other pouring pots. But then again, this does seem to be a bit higher quality.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you place this pot directly on a propane gas burner (without a double boiler setup)?**
A: I use a similar aluminum pot without the insulated handle on a low heat on the gas stove. Works fine just use a pot holder when picking it up.

**Q: What’s the Best way to clean it and get remaining wax out?**
A: I heat it up, and then wipe out the majority of the remaining wax with a paper towel, then use goo-gone to get the last of the wax residue out, and then hand wash it with a soft sponge

**Q: Can I use this with gel wax?**
A: Sure! There’s great information on WikiHow about “How to make a gel candle“ and, of course, starts with how to melt the gel.

**Q: When using the "double boiler method" does this pot sit in the water? I thought the purpose of a double boiler is steam heats the wax.**
A: I use this as the outside pot and use a pyrex glass measuring cup (2C) to sit inside of it to melt the wax.  It works great.

This is definitely not the cheapest pouring pot you will find, but there's something about it that I really like. I now have four of them. They're a little more expensive than other ones, but the quality seems good. I also like the handles, and it is easy to pour my wax. I just wish they were a little more in line with the cost of other pouring pots. But then again, this does seem to be a bit higher quality.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best pouring pot I have owned

Some may say cleaning pouring pots is hard and that statement isn't necessarily true, but it also isn't the exact truth either. If I have any wax left over I like to top my candles off. Once they are topped off and some is still left I will either pour it out into the trashcan, (yes I know this sounds wasteful) or I will wipe it out with paper towels. After I have wiped it out enough I use some rubbing alcohol to clean the inside. What I love most about this pouring pitcher is that I have used it as a double boiler, put in on a single burner to reheat wax again and as a pouring pot. Highly recommend this pouring pot
