Review: Lifesaver for Remote Teaching - I teach 7th grade ELA, and when I came home from school on March 13, I had no idea I should have brought home half my room because we inevitably would not be allowed back in this year because of COVID-19. Since I just grabbed what I needed for the weekend like I usually do, I was facing a new and interesting challenge when we were told we need to create video lessons for the kiddos! I needed a dry erase board. I needed anchor charts. I needed to be able to do the lessons in my kitchen because I left my tripod with my mom and she lost it-so kitchen counter for my laptop it is. This is fantastic! It’s just big enough to serve my purpose of a short video lesson and still be engaging with the kiddos! It erases well and stands perfectly. Plus, it fits great on my kitchen counter 😉.

**Q: How does the dry erase surface work?**
A: It is perfect for me. Erases perfectly, and I've used it many many times. Any regular dry erase marker works.

**Q: I'm so confused. It says post-it easel pad with dry erase board surface.  Is this just a pad of paper or is it a dry erase board?**
A: Hello there it's more of a pad paper not a dry board. It's about 20 pages I think. You can rip off the sheets and stick it to the wall if you need to.

**Q: Can this serve as a replacement for a regular whiteboard? I want to use it to draw, label, erase, and re-draw anatomical diagrams for studying.**
A: There is a version with a dry erase surface on the side opposite of the side with paper.  We use these for training.  The dry erase side is a little hard to use when used table top. There isn't enough support to really press and write. And I find that is leaves a bit of ghosting.  Good for temp use but not as a replacement for a solid whiteboard.

**Q: Is the board magnetic ?**
A: Hello, the board is not magnetic, however the cover does fold into a stand for the board. Thanks for asking!

I bought this to use playing Pictionary and it turned out great! It's big enough so that people across the room can see what's being drawn and the dry erase side makes it easy to just wipe and go to the next one. We put it on a table and it's not heavy, so it slides a little, although I could have put something heavy in the middle to hold it down. My favorite part is that it folds flat for storage when not in use- I stuck it behind a book case. They packaged it well so I had no issues with damage.
