Then take your blending stump and touch it to the cotton balls to allow it to absorb a bit of the liquid. You don't want the stump soaked, just damp so you don't need much and the cotton balls allow you not to have to dip the stump directly into the liquid, getting it too wet. You then just use the blending stump to move the color. After it dries, you can apply more layers. Just be sure you have already a few layers down as it works with the wax. Not enough layers and it doesn't give the desired effect. **Q: Can i use this on any adult coloring book?** A: Yes! Any coloring book (I own several different ones) which is just one more reason I LOVE THIS STUFF!! (: **Q: How do you apply this to your colored pencil drawings?
