Tricky to learn at first, but YOU WILL GET IT!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Just received this in the mail yesterday, and FINALLY figured out how to make it work. Note: I purchased this product for wrist and forearm strengthening purposes. It took me multiple tries before I understood the right movement and momentum to get the gyro ball working. This is how I figured out how to make it work. The instructions inside the box are similarly written, but I feel like this description is more straightforward (and I added a video, so hopefully that'll help, too):1) Insert one end of the string into a hole.2) Wrap the string in line with the groove by rotating the gyro ball, and yes, the string will overlap. The purpose of the string is to create the initial momentum for the gyro ball. I haven't been able to start the gyro ball without the string, but I guess that's for more advanced users.3) Hold the bottom of the gyro ball (ball facing up) and pull the string STRAIGHT up with force. It's possible to pull the string at an angle, but there's a greater chance of the end of the string getting caught inside the plastic holder for the gyro ball (speaking from experience).4) Flip the gyro ball down (so that the hand holding the base is now on top AKA back-of-the-hand side up) and rotate your wrist clockwise while keeping your arm AND forearm straight. You'll hear the gyro ball pick up speed until the VROOOMMMM! sound picks up and the lights start flashing.5) It'll be a lot easier to alternate hands and focus on your forearm or wrist at other angles after the gyro ball has picked up the right momentum. Have fun!I'll have to add to this review after I see how well it impacts my wrist strengthening. It feels pretty effective, so I have high hopes.EDIT: IT WORKS! Slowly but surely, my wrist strength AND wrist flexibility has progressed. I really ought to practice with it more often than I currently do (at the moment, I use it at least 1-2 times a week), but the speed with which I can handle the gyro ball and longevity of maintaining that speed has improved tremendously. Big fan.

A Useful Exercise Device
This is a useful device for strengthening the wrists and forearms. As some other buyers already have noted, the instructions given on the package and in the product leaflet are not clearly translated into English, and some buyers will have difficulty with them. For anyone who is already familiar with exercise devices of this kind, the instructions are not an obstacle to using this product.

Just as good as the original
These gyroscopes are awesome! At one point many years ago, I owned the original gyroball that cost ~$50 - but unfortunately I happened to lose it and subsequently forgot it even existed. When the memory of that original ball popped into my head, I immediately went on Amazon to discover these off brand balls exist!I was a bit hesitant regarding its quality, but Im here to inform you that it feels literally identical to the original gyroball. Theres no way to discern between the two, besides the different company logos. As a friendly tip, you dont need the string to get the ball started - just swipe your thumb upwards across the green ball until you seem some lights going. At this point, you can use your wrist to speed it up and get it rotating.

Great but missing the start up cord and wrist strap
The Force Ball itself works great. It really builds up a strong resistant force. I am recovering from a wrist fracture and was told to start therapy... but this item is all the therapy I need. Unfortunately the item was missing the start up string and wrist strap that was supposed to come with it. Instead I had to start it by pulling it quickly over a clean flat surface. I would like the seller to please send me the string and wrist strap.

Great and easy to use
I needed something to give my wrist and forearm an easy workout at the office or while driving. This was a great filler to that. It has helped with grip strength, range of motion, and stability of hand flexors and forearm flexors.

Doesn't work.
I have had similar items in the past and have used them successfully. This item does not work . there is a mechanical bind in the assembly which will not let the unit revolve as designed. It looks good and feels good, but does not work. Poor assembly and quality control in manufacture.

Its not broken
I read reviews stating that not knowing how to use this would be the hardest part for people, I was certain mine was broken or it just didn't work as well as people thought, I even had started a return but I tried it one more time and got it going for real and it burns the forearms and wrist after it really gets going. Additionally it appears to go for as long as you work the motions and doesn't just wear itself out on its own where you are using it right.
