What is the amp rating for this unit? I need fuse size** A: The writeup says 60 watts max so 60W/12V=5 amps. You'll want to have a little headroom for variability. There's usually a bit of a current surge with a refrigerator at startup so if using a fuse you probably want a slo-blo type. If your solar output is 24V you'll want to cut the above currents in half. Make sure you get the polarity right! **Q: Please help! i want to buy a power pack something like the jackery. what size would i need to buy to run the 52qt size? just for over night or weekend** A: Hello, we have launched a new 716WH power station that will last overnight. It's on a new release promotion, you can think about it~ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09289G4W3. **Q: Can i plug this directly into a solar battery with controller and NO inverter?** A: Yes. ## Frequently Bought Together - BougeRV 12V Portable Refrigerator Fridge Freezer Portable Car Fridge 53 Quart Electric Cooler12V/24V DC 110~240 V AC for RV Truck Jeep Pickup SUV Van Boat Camping Tailgating Road Trip Outdoor Travel - BougeRV Solar Connectors Y Branch Parallel Adapter Cable Wire Plug Tool Kit for Solar Panel --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/664936122-12v-portable-car-freezer-refrigerator-53-quart-portable-refrigerator-dc](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/664936122-12v-portable-car-freezer-refrigerator-53-quart-portable-refrigerator-dc) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
