My fingers were bruised for a few days but worth it! However, I will say that this reminds me more of a mini brick build than it does a normal Lego build. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend it for people with larger hands or any sort of dexterity issues. While I really enjoyed assembling this set, my hands did start to hurt after about an hour of assembly, so I leisurely worked on it a little bit at a time over the course of about two weeks.Fair warning, this set is fairly hard to assemble mainly because there’s only two different colors of bricks so they kind of all blend together. The instructions are very similar to Lego’s visual instructions where it shows you what bricks you’ll need for each step and where they should be placed. However, there are some steps that the instructions seem to skip or way oversimplify so sometimes you kind of have to figure it out on your own. There also doesn’t appear to be any rhyme or reason as to how they separated the pieces into the individual bags. As a result before you start your build, I would highly recommend you open all of the bags and sort the pieces into organized piles. This may take a little while, but it makes the actual build go so much smoother.While this build was definitely challenging, I’m still super glad I got it! Now that’s it’s fully assembled, it looks really cool and is a fun item to display on my bookshelf. I also love that I got so much build time out of it. With some sets, you can literally assemble the whole thing in like an hour and I always kind of feel like I didn’t get my money’s worth when that happens. With this build, I got about two weeks out of it and really got to test my building capabilities. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun yet challenging build!
