Feels heavier than I imagined even though the description has the weight listed, but that makes it strong and ruable. Once it is in it is very easy to use with the included bungee netting large enough to handle a significant amount of gear. In my case, I am not loading it that high because a) I don't need to 99% of the time and b) because I like to be able to see over it with my rearview mirror.The mounting height is perfect IMO because it lines up with the top of the rear seat, so you have a good amount of space above it and below.Installing takes a bit of effort by one person so I suggest getting help if possible. If on your own find a cardboard box or something like that to help hold it up to make attaching it to the "legs" easier. The instructions are pretty good but it doesn't tell you that with the legs loose you have to hold them up to get the basket in between the two. It fits tight but it fits well.Only downsides from my point of view: 1. if you want to remove the top from your Wrangler you will have to remove this cargo basket. 2. The legs would be much handier if they had a few slots in them so you could attach a molle bag or other light weight accessory.I have a bag for my recovery boards, which fit perfectly in this basket with room to spare for other small items. I plan to carry my air hose in there also. Temporarily I strapped my first aide kit to the bottom of the leg on one side and my air up/down bag under the other. I plan to find a way to attach them on top of those legs eventually.Overall I am very happy with this setup. A little heavy but the other brands that compete and are lighter are nearly triple the cost and for that I don't think they are worth the money.
