They are little, and thus go into small out-of-the-way places where mice can get to, but dogs can't, like behind the fridge. They are easy and safe to load as you don't have to touch the bait, which is a bit like pink Playdoh in a plastic sachet, which the mice nibble through without you having to touch it. I chose the clear plastic version, which is good because you can hold the box up to the light and see if the bait has been nibbled, without opening the box. After a couple of nights, the one in the garage is going down steadily, so i guess there are some mice with a tummy ache somewhere, but they seem to have disappeared. and the price is really good for the set of five boxes and bait to fill them.
