Northern DIY 6 Door Handle Springs pack includes six 2.5-turn coil springs made from durable 2.5mm thick spring steel with a black passivating coating, plus six 13.8mm circlips for secure attachment. ## Description

When replacing a door handle spring, the two most important things to check are a) 2 turns or 2.5 turns and b) the thickness of the spring (we define the thickness as height spring when laid flat). Most springs are held in place with a circlip that can be removed and replaced with external circlip pliers. External Circlip Pliers are available on desertcart. Please note that the handle feels loose if you insert a thinner spring than the original model. If you install a thicker spring than the original, it may be difficult to replace the locking ring, and the handle may tend to seize. Tip: when you install a new spring, a little grease will provide better wear and better movement.

**Q: I looking for this product but in 2.00 mm thick how do i order this size**
A: Sorry, we only sell 2.0mm thick, 27.5mm diameter springs in packs of 10.  The circlips are available separately. Click the 'by Northern DIY' link below the Title in any of our listings to see our full range available on Amazon.

**Q: Flat wire thickness?
I measured my (broken) wire to be 2.8mm. Should I order 2.5mm or 3.0mm replacements?**
A: I'm not sure, I've just measured the 2.5 ones and they come out at 2.46. My best advice is get both sizes then return the ones that don't fit. the ones I bought came in a zip lock bag so you don't have to damage the packaging. Hope this helps.
