I've not used a wrist splint before so can't compare but this really works for me, so much so that I bought a second one for the other wrist which I suffer less with. I don't wake up in the night with any numbness or tingling when I wear them. And the pair cost less combined than one of the boring beige or black ones on its own!Updated - after 2 months of nightly wear a lot of the hooks on the velcro have come off (literally pinging off whenever I take the brace off - I wondered what it was for a while because the tiny bits often flicked into my face!) So the straps don't stick down completely. It is still functional for now. To be honest though they are really comfortable and I like the design of the buckle through fastening so I will order replacements! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Useful and not too warm *by L***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 December 2018* I bought two of these because I have to wear splints at night but the ones I had were really hot for the summer. I only wear these splints at night and very occasionally in the day so obviously I'm not doing too much in them. They're not the most robust splints so if you're hoping to be very active while wearing them you might want something else (hence 4 stars instead of 5). For my purposes, though, they are great because they really are cooler on the skin than normal ones and the fact that each has two metal bars means that they hold my wrists really well. More comfortable than the ones with only 1 metal strip in. The metal strips are more flexible too. Easy to put on with Velcro straps. My old ones were made with neoprene, which whilst supported, it made my wrist sweat.
