    Not Egyptian cotton

Description claims 100% Egyptian cotton but packaging states 100% High Quality Island Cotton.Annoyed by the bait-n-switch and unclear the overall quality.Island cotton appears to be 2-5% of the Xinjiang cotton crop (with the remaining being upland cotton).  It is apparently an extra-long staple (ELS) cotton.It feels like polyester even though the tag says 100% cotton.I will wash it and see.Disappointed in being outright lied to.

Was very disappointed in this pillow case.  It was supposed to be 400 thread count, no way.  It is rough and feels like regular cotton.  Compared to our 400 thread count sheets and pillow cases, not even close.  The tag on the pillow only says Cotton, nothing about being Egyptian Cotton or a thread count number.  Will return it.

I purchased the body pillow cover with someone of high expectations since the description is 400 thread count of Egyptian cotton. Now, my sheets (different brand) are labeled the same way and feel so much softer than this pillow case. I’m not sure what’s off on the description or where the materials came from but I am a bit disappointed because I thought it would be softer.
