I would prefer to glue fix without screw holes.** A: No holes. I used it to protect a join in my kitchen worktop by gluing it with No More Nails and sealing the edges with silicone. **Q: What is the size of the T spike. I have a tiny gap between laminate flooring and door step need to know if it will fit down the gap?** A: My bar is now in the floor so cannot measure. I would suggest that you would need a minimum gap of 3mm wide and at least 5mm deep. Hope that helps. **Q: Is this actually 14mm or 13mm? I think it is actually 14mm but yours says it is 13mm. I have exactly the same brand and it measures 14mm.** A: Top is smooth **Q: Can this be used for connecting wood to tile and also carpet to laminate.
