Very soft and smooth feeling. Like application states, the more you put on the darker the color will be. The less you put on, the more natural and gentler it'll be. The disappointing part is that it's all the same color. So if you are the type of person who needs more than one then this is perfect. Other wise try to find one with less. This was disappointing as I was under the impression that there would be one or two with a more purple hue or another hue to make it different. All the same.
