The led sheet around the plastic capsules were coming off on some. The following is for the 8w version. The review is not based on the longevity or reliability of this product as I've not used it for long. I will update if there are issues.Firstly, wow! could these be the first decent G9 LED bulbs?!I have used LED G9 bulbs before but they have always been poor at giving out decent brightness compared to Halogen and poor reliability. I would say these are overstated by being compared to 75w halogen. I would say they are similar to 40w G9 Halogen which is normally the brightest G9 halogen bulbs.The colour temperature is slightly whiter and greyer than halogen but not really noticeable. My partner didn't notice the change. The 4 bulbs that I used do not make a difference on my energy meter which is good.The LED's are in a plastic capsule with slits. Previous LED bulbs that I have used were encased in silicone - some started cracking or smouldering after usage!I hope these last well.With all LED bulbs - Inspect them every so often for damage.
