Good to eat straight from the tin!
This is the best condensed milk. I don't buy it often because I love eating big spoonfuls of it and I don't want to affect my health by eating so much sugar. However, it's perfectly fine as an occasional treat on toast, over ice cream, or straight from the tin!

You can't beat Nestle Carnation condensed milk. Bought as an ingredient to make Scottish Tablet as substitutes never give you the right result.It doesn't matter how much you try to get out of the can into the pot - there's always enough left in the can (after a few minutes) to eat with a spoon!

Couldn't find the Carnation caramel version so 4 hours later I have a great batch from condensed milk, Just like the old days. I think the recipe on the tin looks interesting so shall try it out (if I can stop making caramel).
