This was for a potluck event so I was able to tell everyone to leave the serving utensils at home since the kit comes with serving spoons, sporks, and tongs. Also I handed out the entree pans to some people to cook their food in so everyone's dish was kept warm throughout the event. The entree pans were sturdy enough to be washed and reused. The water pans could last many uses if cared for. Or just recycle the pans for easy clean up. Very convenient and useful.
