I then placed the salmon on the hot, smoking plank. After grilling, I served the filet on the plank. What a sight! And, tasty. It's the best way to grill fish.The fish was easy to remove from the plank by inserting a spatula between the skin and flesh. Very little clean-up on the grill -- the plank was wide enough for a full, farm-raised salmon filet, so the grates were clean. Don't buy the narrow planks or the fish will be hanging over the sides of the plank.
