Easy to set up. If using an under sink atmospheric flapper style vent the pump will not function properly and you may experience leakage where the top meets the bottom. When Configured with an under sink vent……….after a pump cycle, there is a standing water column right at the check valve on the discharge of the pump. The under sink vent allows air in but not out. As the basin fills with water there is nowhere for the air to escape causing pressure to build.
