I called the Toll Free no, for Free Home Demo (Singer provide Two free Demo) in the morning & Singer personnel attended in the same day itself. The Free Home Demo personnel (Bangalore) was very well trained & very polite too. He talked us through all the do's and dont's for the product, demonstrated every function clearly. Very satisfied with the customer service from Singer as well as Amazon. People who are having issue with 'thread coming out' - solution is - 1. Thread the machine properly. Important point - thread has to go from front to back of the needle. Please search the quoted term in Youtube - "SINGER® Machine Threading Tutorial" . Video details for reference: length - 3:38 ; Channel name: SingerSewingCompany ; 331K views. 2. Both the threads from needle & bobbin should be pulled towards back of the machine & then start with stitching. Pull the threads by at least 4 inches, only then the thread will not come of the needle. 3. Most important point - Always GRADUALLY press the foot pedal. Don't press it down fully when you begin, start gently/slowly & then increase speed gradually. Like how you accelerate in car/bike.
