## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐ It works, with caveats

*by R***Y on March 1, 2019*

I bought this gunstock style holder to use with the Fuji kit I use outdoors - X-T3 camera with 200MM f2 lens and Olympus EE-1 red dot sight. The stock works, though the connection between lens and stock is at the single point of the tripod thread in the lens foot. The issue with this is that it is all too easy for the rig to torque out of alignment with the stock itself - if there were some kind of ridge or a stop of some kind to prevent the lens from twisting to the left or right it would make things far better.

### ⭐ cute but useless with a viewfinder

*by J***N on September 24, 2016*

Sat 9/24/2016 7:14 pm. I feel it should be noted that the thing is apparently supposed to work with an *LCD display* camera -- I can barely *see* my camera's viewfinder with the stedi stock. Look at the excellent "Fishgriller" video, which very nicely demonstrates the thing; he's obviously peering at the LCD.Of course the average camera these days is an LCD gadget with *no* viewfinder, and I could've easily discovered this minor drawback with a little pre-purchase investigation so I am not bitter, and plan to hang the thing in a place of honor somewhere....

### ⭐ Too flexible for a heavy lens

*by D***R on June 3, 2019*

I tried this steady stock with a 200-500mm lens and the stock flexes too much. I should be made with a more rigid plastic and with a few more ribs designed into the stock. I would recommend against this item for a heavy camera or spotting scope. It's probably OK for lightweight items.
