On one of the professional dog walkers group in Facebook a post appeared which educated me. I did some further research and to my shock and extreme disappointment, I been using poo bags that are oxo-biodegradable but not environmentally friendly. They degrade into microplastics and thus very harmful .These bags are compostable, they do degrade into natural materials, because they are made from plant products. Therefore these bags ARE ENVIRONMENTALLY friendly. If environment is a concern to you ONLY by these or similar bags that are COMPOSTABLE. If it is NOT COMPOSTABLE it is not friendly to our environment.the only thing that would be good is if they are slightly bigger. This massively reduces useable size and although I have a small dog, I frequently have to wrap one bag in another as the poop is too close to the handles. Back to the green, square ones. I wanted something with handles that you could tie, unscented and truly degradable / compostable. I've been using these bags since getting our dog, but I'm disappointed to see that they've gone up nearly £5 since last buying them in November. I'm guessing its because of Brexit. The company have great customer service.
