It heats up quickly and does a good job holding curls, even on hair that doesn’t usually hold a style well.I use different attachments depending on the look I’m going for. Some get more use than others, but overall it’s nice having the flexibility. Switching between them is quick and easy.My hair tends to resist curls, and this gives noticeably better results than other tools I’ve tried. The curls last longer and hold their shape better.It does get very hot—even on lower settings—so it’s something to be mindful of. The higher heat is also what makes it effective, especially if you’re trying to get longer-lasting results.Because of that, I don’t use it every day. I tend to reach for it more for travel, special occasions, or when I want a stronger hold. I’m happy with the results. We moved into our new home and my $60 curling iron got misplaced and we haven’t been able to find it and so I figured I would get this and use the other as a backup and I love all the different attachments. It doesn’t take long to heat up and it gets it done quickly. I do reasonable size pieces and it curls my hair exactly the way I like. I have pretty thick hair and I got this done faster than I did with my retractable so I’m very happy with the results. My hair is colored, and there was no damage that I could see but we also have to remember he does cause damage.
