After 1 day, one of the smaller mice came away from the base, quickly followed by the other 2. They were each replaced several times, until I realised that my kitten was having far more fun kicking them around the floor and chasing after them than she did when they were attached to the base!My initial fears about the fabric were unfounded. All the mice and the base still have the fabric intact. The main issue, other than the easily detached mice, is that the base isn't really heavy enough to stop the whole thing falling over every time a kitten nudges one of the mice.I have give the Cat Island 4 stars despite its issues, as my kitten has had many weeks of fun from this, even if not quite in the way it was intended, so it certainly works for her in terms of entertainment at a fairly low price for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐ A good product but unfortunately my cats didn't take to it *by B***9 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 October 2014* The product itself is quite well made, though a couple of things I thought could be improved include:1- The mice come off a bit too easiy, its easy to put them back on the base though2- The base is quite light and easily knocked overUnless I'm sitting by the toy, swinging the mouse tails, my cats don't take any interest in this at all which is a shame, because I do think its quite a good toy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ one of the mice is too easy to come off the stand- not very good hold *by E***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 March 2015* My little kitten loves it.
