It's completely useless as a backup device as it can't seem to stand the disks down properly, meaning OSX has problems re-launching them which leads to endless issues with getting them to show on the desktop again.I've used Macs for years and was involved in IT support before my current job so it's nothing as simple as not knowing how to eject a drive...
