These earbuds have a fantastic sound straight out of the box, which can be customised using the Nothing X app. The earbuds have very good ANC with transparency mode. The ANC is very good and is very close to the AirPods Pro 3, which is especially impressive given the over £200 price difference. The battery lasts for a good 8 hours with ANC and high volume. They are comfortable to wear all day and are simple to use. The case has a satin finish, which does tend to show finger marks very easily, but it also features a silver control wheel, which can be customised in the app. This can be turned as well as pressed, so it is easy to set it for music controls or other controls. The case is quite boxy, so it may be less pocket-friendly than AirPods cases. The app gives access to all of the customisations, such as adjusting EQ, controls, bass boost, and spatial audio. There has just been a firmware update, which has made these earbuds sound even better. The earbuds can be paired with 2 devices, which is more limiting than the way that AirPods work on Apple devices, but these are over £200 cheaper. In my opinion, these are some of the best-sounding and most versatile earbuds I have tried. I am amazed by how good these Nothing Buds Pro 2 are, not only for their price, but compared to much higher priced alternatives.

Pros -Brilliant sound. Came from a pair of Soundcore P31i earbuds and I was always frustrated by the sound and fit. They always slid out and the bass felt weak. These have strong bass (dare I say too much if you turn on ultra bass) and feel more secure for my ears -Look nice. Never had blue earbuds before and I don’t regret it - The case controls are useful and unique. The controls on the earbuds and case do take a minute to get used to though -They are a nice size. Easy to pocket -I like the app a lot. It looks and feels real nice -They’re just unique. Nothing looks like them Cons -Noise cancellation could be better. Not as strong as I’m used to with the Soundcore but 90% of the way there. It’s good just not the best -Controls are initially confusing -They are not mono audio when using one earbud -They don’t have separate controls for earbuds when single earphone vs dual earphone mode (small but useful). The case solves this though Battery life is sufficient for my usage so not complaining Haven’t had an issue with that
