We've tried a variety of alternatives to keeping a toilet roll standing on the back of the cistern, since we had our bathroom refurbished. Like many others we don't want holes in the tiles. This is stuck on the glass shower panel and shows absolutely no sign of moving.There are a lot of other people reviewing here who say it doesn't stick. I'd question the surface they are trying to stick it to - the description is quite clear on what it won't. I've shopped for a lot of tiles in the last couple of years (having refurbed two houses), and I know that the vast majority of tiles sold now are not shiny, they are matt. You can't stick this to matt.Read the description before you buy, if you have the right surface you won't have a problem. Looks fine, good price, does the job.

Ideal when you don't want to ruin a surface by screwing into it.Fits easily and the suction is pretty strong. You must place it on an uninterrupted surface though, and a smooth clean surface.A plain gloss flat tile surface works best.Definitely NOT across a grouting joint, nor on an emulsioned wall. It won't stick on these surfaces for long if at all.Wet the suction cup slightly before tightening the collar.

If I could give this 0 stars I would! This came very quickly but has never stuck to our bathroom wall. Took it out of the package and followed the instructions and it stuck to the wall. Stood up and it fell off. Did it again and same thing. And again and again. This never even got the opportunity to put the toilet roll on there. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone a complete waste of money don’t buy it!!
