Now, with suffering from severe plantar fasciitis in my right foot for nearly 2 years, I have become more educated and aware of proper foot care. My podiatrist informed me I am part of the 2% of the population with very high arches, which has contributed to my years of foot pain and now, plantar fasciitis. Steroid injections, stretches, weight loss, other insoles, specially made shoes, and other medications have done nothing to promote healing and consistently reduce pain.I remembered when I purchased these years ago, the arch support was out of this world - almost too high, but now....it is what I have become desperate for, so I did not hesitate to purchase multiple pairs of these. I have now been wearing them non-stop for 7 days (except for sleeping), and I can certainly tell that for once, the pain is subsiding with each day. The first few days my feet felt somewhat bruised, due to the break-in period, but now - I am really starting to feel my feet are being properly supported, allowing inflammation to decrease and healing to hopefully begin. As of now, I plan to keep a stock of these on hand, so all of my shoes have them at all times.Note:- I wear a size 10 shoe. The women's 10-10.5 fits perfectly.- Everyone's feet are different, but for me having super high arches, the insoles are perfect.- They do add extra volume to shoes so you may need to readjust how your shoes are tied, etc.- The red version did tend to stain my socks red, but I have not had any issues with this version staining my socks blue.- If my review changes for whatever reason as I continue to wear these, I will provide an update. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Does the job!! *by D***. on Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2023* Years ago I developed a metatarsal (ball of foot) pain so had to get custom oI orthotics of which cost hundreds of dollars. I feel these are as good or very close. They have great support and are comfortable. People that are new to wearing orthotics might take a little time to get use to them and should gradually increase the amount of time each day if that is an issue. I wish years ago shoe manufacturers were inclined to make more supportive shoes with some arch support I wouldn't have had this problem. But would recommend these, for sure.
