The top came off but not easily. I can’t find the included tool to remove the bottom. I’m ordering another for my other pair but I’d caution you from using the included tape on the bottom half. Once I get the tool I will update this review. I don’t know who said these don’t stay on. THEY STAY ON!! I was looking for a case that was not silicone. Those tend to collect lint/crumbs that may be in my bag pockets. This is a hard plastic with a powdery feel - similar tothe Bose case itself. It doesn’t add a lot of bulk and I would feel secure enough to clip this onto my jeans or bag -although I don’t since I ride the subway and rubbing up on people has the potential to flip the top open - oh yeah, same closure as the Bose case. There’s no additional magnet or lock. It is 2 pieces that pop onto your device. They include double sided tape for extra security and I have to say that it’s pretty good because I just tried to remove it and it’s not so simple. Be gentle with the hinge of the device if you try to remove yours. I absolutely recommend it. I like the quality. I think it’s sleek looking. It allows the LED alert lights to remain visible. It doesn’t obstruct any functions. Fits perfectly. Worth it. I hope they make more colors as these become more popular. Review: Minimalist yet functional - I purchased this cover to protect my Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, which were an investment for me, so having a sturdy case is a must. This cover not only protects the charging case but also complements it beautifully. I love the minimalist design, and the black color matches the original charging case so well that they look like they’re meant to go together. The texture and quality even feel a bit more luxurious than the Bose case itself. It’s thick enough to give me confidence that it will absorb shock and resist breaking. Cleaning is simple with just a damp cloth, and I was pleasantly surprised that, despite its silicone-like texture, it doesn’t attract dust or lint the way many silicone covers do. The carabiner is a thoughtful addition—I clip it to my daily crossbody bag for quick and easy access. The fit is perfect, with no slipping or looseness, so I never worry about scratches or damage. I also love the clear front design that lets the Bose branding show through while still being fully protected. Overall, the combination of quality, protection, minimalist design, and thoughtful details has me completely sold on this cover. For anyone who wants to protect their Bose earbuds without sacrificing style, this is an excellent choice. ## Features - 【Slim & Perfect Fit】This shockproof case is made to fit perfectly with Bose Ultra Open (2024), with precise cutouts allowing easy access to the pairing button, charging port, and indicator light (Charging Case & Earbuds are Not Included) - 【Reliable Drop Protection】Constructed with a shock-absorbent TPU shell and hard PC, this Bose Ultra Open case cover is tough enough to handle any shocks and falls, It's built to keep the damage out while letting the Bose personality shine through - 【Heavy-Duty Carabiner】Our protective cover for Bose Ultra Open Earbuds comes with a robust, anti-rust carabiner & keyring.
